Télécom Saint-Etienne

An integral part of the Université Jean Monnet in Saint-Etienne and an associate member of the Institut Mines Télécom, TSE trains around 550 student engineers in the field of new and emerging technologies. Students can combine electronics, photonics, telecommunications, networks, imaging, machine vision and informatics to obtain either a major/minor or a dual degree.

Activities for international students :

  • Jeunes Ambassadeurs : a program of coaching between a local businessman and an international student
  • AGERA : international students’ event in Lyon (guided tour of Lyon and official welcome)
  • Welcome week : a day of events to wish our international students a warm welcome
  • Meltingpo’tse : a day to discover food and culture from the countries of our international students and from over areas of France (organized by the students union)
  • Chinese New Year : organized by the students union
  • Gagastronome : a family from Saint-Etienne invites an international student for a meal in their home
